EVERY CHOICE HAS AN IMPACT

Build workshop

Prepare trial builds independent of live characters.

Where is the JSON file?

Use the JSON export button in the Build workshop. The browser usually saves the file in the Downloads folder under the name deskrawl-build.json. You can restore the build by selecting this file with JSON import.

Build JSON is a test draft; live character is not in the same format as JSON. Importing replaces the existing draft; You can return to the previous draft with Undo.

Where is the JSON file?

Windows application automatically reads the open game; You don't need to choose JSON. On the web version, use the Live JSON export button on the Windows app's My Character screen, save the file in the folder of your choice, and select it there.

This file is not a game save file. Legacy JSON only shows the last read character; Keep the Windows app open for live tracking.

Link the live.json file of the reader running alongside the game.

Transfer changes in the file to the workshop

No files linked.

Help with initial connection

Enter the game, run the local reader, select the resulting live.json file.

node companion/live.mjs

File location: .sites-runtime/companion/live.json. You don't need to select a file in the Windows application.

Inventory and warehouse

Once you connect the game, your items will appear here.

Build evaluation

Candidate focused on physical items

Furious Fist matches the gauntlet, Whirlwind Staff matches physical bonuses. Spirit Flow provides support, Soulmate provides bonus attack. This is a conditional recommendation; It is not a measured DPS rank.

Holy Thunder alternative

Lightning bonus and a candidate for crowded battles. You can choose and compare instead of your Soulmate. It is necessary to verify through description and playtesting whether the wand alone satisfies the control condition.
